Whether you have been playing musical instruments for years or you are completely new to music, the 'Music Appreciation Class' is an ideal starting point to explore the world of music!This class is designed to provide an immersive and enjoyable experience for students, where they will learn to appreciate music in all its forms.

Through this class, students will have the opportunity to discover the beauty of various melodies and compositions, learn about the rich history of music, and gain knowledge about different instruments and their unique sounds. The class will also introduce students to different types of ensembles and help them understand the terminology used in music.

Moreover, the class will cover a broad range of musical elements such as expression, form, pitch, timbre, tonality, and dynamics, enabling students to develop a more nuanced appreciation of music. Although the class will primarily focus on classical music, there will be dedicated sessions to learn how to read sheet music, study movie soundtracks and explore popular music.

After the class, students will have access to a vast collection of music that they can listen to and enjoy in their free time. The class is an hour-long session, scheduled daily during the March break, and our small class size of a maximum of eight students ensures a group atmosphere that encourages participation and teamwork.
