English Phonics & Reading
The “English Phonics & Reading Program” is a specialized virtual reading program, available for students in SK-Gr.3, targeting the enhancement of our student’s comprehension and reading skills while teaching curriculum-based content.
For SK-Grade 1 class, This enrichment program splits one hour class, with one half Phonics-based learning and the other half reading-based learning. In the first half, students work on phonetics skills and practise the pronuciation. The other half, students reading stories as a class, understanding more challenging vocabulary, progressing with their word recognition and collaboratively work on a comprehension quiz after each workbook.
During the second half of class, the students learn a new daily lesson, ranging from Science, English, History, Geography etc. Here they learn and review new concepts, engage in practice work games and quizzes, do a creative activity and finish off with a class story time.
Our small class sizes (max of 8 students) allows for an active group atmosphere, which encourages participation and teamwork! Our goal is to ensure that every child reaches their full potential, hence, we strive to keep our pricing affordable.
In our “English Phonics & Reading Course,” our students will develop their reading skills, learn new things, and most importantly have fun!
