Math Practical Problem Solving
Practical Problem Solving Math course is a virtual program dedicated solely to progressing young learners’ understanding of mathematics.
This class is a one-hour program weekly, during which we teach: number sense, critical thinking, the fundamentals of algebra, logic and problem solving, geometry, data management and creativity. To ensure our students stay actively participating and focused, the class is divided into three parts.
The first part being collaborative group work, where the students work as a class to complete worksheets and quizzes, building on concepts learnt in previous classes.
The second portion is lesson-based learning, where they are taught a new mathematical concept weekly.
The final part of the class consists of individual work and activity time, where students complete worksheets independently, later taking them up as a class (to ensure understanding), and do a creative mathematics-based activity.
This active e-learning environment ensures that our students enhance their knowledge of math, learn new things and most importantly have fun!
